Region 15 Turnaround Team

The Region 15 Turnaround Advisory Team was created in an effort to enhance services provided to campuses and districts that are either rated "unacceptable" by TEA or staged for not meeting AYP. The Department of Education currently defines turnaround as a drastic process that includes changes in personnel, adopting a new governance structure, and reforming the school through new curriculum and targeted professional development. The Turnaround Team at Region 15 consists of professionals from Administrative Services, Federal Programs, Instructional Services, Data Services, and Special Education. This cross-departmental collaboration allows us to pool our collective experience and training to better address specific and systemic issues districts/campuses may be facing.

It is the intent of the Region 15 Turnaournd Team to be proactive partners with schools in Region 15 in their school improvement efforts. Our support services include but are not limited to data disaggregation and needs assessment, school improvement plan development and implementation, curricular support, instructional support, leadership training, state and federal guideline support, and Campus Snapshot.
