Mr. Scot Goen was named as Executive Director of ESC Region XV effective September 1, 2008. Mr. Goen has served in education for 25 years, eleven of which have been in Region XV.

Mr. Goen brings with him experience as a former teacher/coach, principal, and superintendent. He has served on several state level, education-related advisory committees and is a member of professional organizations such as the Texas Association of School Administrators. Mr. Goen represented Region XV on the TASA Commissioner’s Cabinet of Superintendents, Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers and Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities.

Mr. Goen looks forward to continuing to direct the ESC in its tradition of service to districts of this region toward the common goal of improved student achievement.
