Introduction:  The Surgeon General is tired of boring written warnings!  We need your help to call attention to the dangers of smoking.  Do your best to present a visual display, using both photos and text, to persuade people not to begin or continue smoking.

Task:  Students will research the sources listed and create a poster, in an advertisement format, that presents a persuasive argument against smoking.

Process:  Students will research available resources and cite the dangers, financial expense and the numerous negative affects smoking has on society.  Students will then use Microsoft Publisher to create a poster that reflects the negative side affects of smoking.  Poster will be handed-in in hard copy form.
